GPU Powering Mosquito Death Star

I'm sure you've all seen the TED videos of mosquitoes being tracked and zapped with friggin' lasers.  If not, then Engadget has a nice summary here.

So what wasn't noted is that the mosquito acquisition and analysis steps are being computed on a GPU.
